Age 12 · Where it started — Bahrain International Karting Circuit
Talal was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up racing in Bahrain. He got into his first kart at 12, at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit. National titles came quickly, and so did the call to represent the Kingdom abroad, from the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in Europe to the IAME X30 World Finals in France.
At 16 he moved up to single-seaters and finished third overall in Formula Gulf 1000. He tested Formula 4 cars in Italy and Malaysia, then raced Formula 4 South East Asia at Sepang in #TeamBahrain colours. In 2019 he won the FIA-backed GCC Young Drivers Academy. In 2022 he won the Bahrain 24-Hour Karting race outright with Bapco.
Now he's coming back. Managed by BreakAway Motorsport, Talal is targeting GT4 racing in the United States. His goal hasn't changed since he started: to become the first Bahraini-American professional racing driver, and to open the door for the kids chasing the same dream.

Chequered flagA helmet in one hand and a dream in the other. Talal starts racing at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit at 12, and within a year he is travelling to Europe to represent Bahrain.
CIK-FIA Karting Academy TrophyBahrain selects Talal to represent the country at the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, where 51 drivers from 36 nations race identical karts across Spain, Belgium and France. He becomes the first driver from the region to reach the final.
FIA Karting World Championship · SakhirA second CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy campaign across France, Portugal and Sweden. Then the FIA OKJ World Championship on home asphalt, where he ranked among the top 90 drivers in the world.
Bahrain Junior Champion · 2016–17Crowned Bahrain Junior Karting Champion. Runner-up in the first FIA-backed GCC Young Drivers Academy. First laps in a Formula 4 car at Adria. By November, 16-year-old Talal is making his Formula Gulf debut at Dubai Autodrome.
Bapco MotorsportsTalal signs his first professional contract and joins Bapco Motorsports, racing under the banner of Bahrain's largest oil and gas company. In the same season he finishes third overall in Formula Gulf 1000 and tests Formula 4 in Malaysia.
Sepang · F4 SEATalal races Formula 4 South East Asia at Sepang in the yellow #20: four starts, four finishes. Months later he wins the GCC Young Drivers Academy in Oman.
Bapco Motorsports · SWS EnduranceEndurance became a strength. Talal won the Bahrain 24-Hour Karting race outright and in the Pro class with Bapco Engineering, over 1,103 laps and by 2.889 seconds. He also reached the SWS World Endurance Finals in France and the McLaren Shadow esports MENA finals.

Founded in 2016, with roots going back to 2012, The Gentlemen's Club Bahrain makes clothing from only the highest-quality fabrics. Its founder's drive for excellence matched Talal's. The partnership went all the way to the helmet: his lid carried the TGC name through his Formula Gulf and Formula 4 seasons.
VRS is a fully immersive gaming and entertainment centre with motion platforms, VR touch experiences, gaming treadmills and, most importantly for a racing driver, force-feedback racing simulators for circuit, drag, drift and rally, with manual shifters.
An Instagram account serving followers a daily dose of Formula One and motorsport, with more than 71,000 followers at the time of the partnership. A natural fit for a young driver who already understood social media and knew how to engage an audience.
Bahrain's largest oil and gas company, and where Talal turned pro: he signed his first professional contract with Bapco Motorsports in 2018. Racing for Bapco Motorsports, Bapco Sadeem and Bapco Engineering, he went on to win the 2022 Bahrain 24-Hour Karting race outright and in the Pro class, 2.889 seconds ahead after 24 hours.
Bahrain's "Ours. Yours." mark ran on the sidepod of the yellow #20 Formula 4 car at Sepang and on Talal's race suit. It meant #TeamBahrain on an international grid.
A chest placement on Talal's race suit, which put the brand in the frame of every paddock photo and TV interview, including his on-camera feature with Alwatan.
Talal donated a signed jersey to Underdogs United's Global Jersey Exchange. Athletes from around the world auction their jerseys there to fund safe drinking water for schoolchildren in Kenya, with Impact Water, and 100% of proceeds go to the cause.
